Definitions:

  • Path to Justice

A commonly applied process that people address in order to cope with their legal problems.

  • Users of justice

Users of justice are all individuals who use a path to justice to solve a problem. Both claimant and respondent in a dispute are users of justice.

  • Whose path to justice MA2J measures? Is it applicable only to the active party (claimant/plaintiff/petitioner/victim)?

Both the claimant and the defendant experience a path to justice and therefore the methodology can be applied to both of them. Questions such as: How much time did you spent on the path to justice? or Did the other party receive a just desert? are applicable to both parties
